  28. 1) Create a directory on the disk where Shareware Author is to be installed.
  29.    (ie: md c:\sa)
  30.  
  31. 2) Create a directory where Shareware Author's database files will reside.
  32.    (ie: md c:\sa\database)
  33.  
  34. 3) Copy all Shareware Author files to the directory created above.
  35.    (ie: copy *.* c:\sa)
  36.  
  37. 4) Change to Shareware Author directory
  38.    (ie: cd c:\sa)
  39.  
  40. 5) Enter sa at DOS prompt
  41.    (ie: sa)

  43. 6) Activate the setup option under the miscellaneous option to define where
  44.    Shareware Author's database files will reside.
  45.    (The database directory created on line item 2)
  46.    (Enter on the Setup Screen c:\sa\database)
  47.  
  48.    Users that send in  the $17 shareware contribution will receive instructions
  49.    on how to enter their own name and registration number.  Once a user has
  50.    registered the program, the registration remains with all future releases.
