- What's New in MCD, Version 2.00
- -------------------------------
-
- MCD has been completely rewritten. It has a better user interface with
- pulldown menus and graphical toolboxes. The editing areas have been made
- larger to allow users to more easily toggle mask bits. Mouse usage in MCD is
- now optional, but recommended.
-
- MCD cursor designs are no longer stored in .MCD files. They are stored in .C
- source files that are directly compatible with TCXL, version 6*. A conversion
- program has been provided to help users convert old .MCD files to the new .C
- format.
-
- MCD still generates source code for C, Pascal, Basic and assembly language.
- The files that MCD generates for these languages have been modified with
- comments. The Basic file generation has been updated to be compatible with
- Quick Basic.
-
- A rotate tool has been added to allow masks to be rotated by 90 degrees. The
- tools for each mask have been made into graphical push buttons to make them
- more intuitive. Most areas in the editing display may be moved to suit the
- users needs.

- to create EGA/VGA text programs that use a graphical mouse cursor and
- graphical icons. It fully supports menus, data entry, virtual windows,
- virtual memory and much, much more.)
