- Running Cubasis Audio LITE Installer on a networked Windows system
-
- The Cubasis Audio LITE Installer supports execution from a networked
- Windows system. That is, a system which uses a shared copy of
- Windows, only user files are kept on the client station. Because
- the server contains all the shared files, the SYSTEM directory
- is read-only. This prevents one user from overwriting the system
- for all other users. This presents a problem when you need to
- install files in the system directory. On shared installations,
- these files should go in the user's WINDOWS directory. To force
- Cubasis Audio Installer to do that, you must use the /N parameter.
- For example:
-
- INSTALL.EXE /N
-
-
- After installation you will find a directory next to your new
- program, called README. This contains a number of Windows Write
- files, describing changes to the program since the manual was
- written, giving answers to common questions etc. Please open these
- files and read them!
