  5.         SAYTIME is a  routine  to  allow  the  Psion S3a  to speak the
  6. current time whenever it is switched on, using sampled sound.  SAYTIME
  7. makes use of  the  SAYNUM  library,  which  is  supplied as translated
  8. Q-code; source code is available separately.
  9.  
  10.         Installation is simple: just copy the  two .OPO files into any
  11. \OPO directory, and the .WVE  files  into  a \WVE directory.  The .OPL
  12. file is not necessary to run the program.

  14.         Once  the  program  is  run,  it  will  put  itself  into  the
  15. background; each time the machine  is  switched  on, it will speak the
  16. current set time.  To quit the  program,  either  change to it and hit
  17. Psion-Escape, or Delete it from the system screen.

  19.         The .WVE files included  were  recorded  by  me, and aren't of
  20. particularly good quality;  they're  intended  as  an  example,  and I
  21. suggest you record your  own.   (If  anyone  has better-sounding ones,
  22. please pass them back to me!)
  23.         The .WVE file contents should be clear from their names.  Many
  24. are the same as the ones  included  with  the full SAYNUM package, and
  25. can be copied over them without difficulty.

  27.         As is usual, I have  to  issue  a  disclaimer of liability; if
  28. anything you do with this program wrecks your love life, destroys your
  29. S3a, gets you arrested, starts  World War III, or indeed does anything
  30. else you consider an adverse outcome,  you have my sympathies but very
  31. little else.

  33. welcome.
