  5. Splitter is a simple package to convert a plain text file into several
  6. smaller files, which can be more easily handled in Psion Word.

  8. The translated application is provided for the Psion 3a, but there is no
  9. reason why the source code should not work on the 3; however, this has
  10. not been tested.

  12. Splitter keeps the original filename, directory and extension, but
  13. replaces the last characters of the filename with a number. (If the
  14. filename already ends with a number, rename it first!) No check is made
  15. for the existence of files with these names. Nor is there much of a test
  16. for binary files; be careful where you use this.

  18. The original file is not modified.
