  1. Don't panic for psion 3a.
  2.  
  3. This app display the large friendly words Don't Panic
  4. on the screen when you switch on. It also plays the
  5. sound effect of the HHGttG coming on, if the sample
  6. is present.
  7.  
  8. The following files are supplied:
  9.  
  10. \opl\Panic.opl - the program source
  11. \pic\Panic.pic - the don't panic bitmap
  12. \pic\Dp.pic    - the application icon
  13. \wve\on.wve    - the sound effect
  14.  
  15. Edit the opl file to give the location of the above files.
  16. I use a flash ram card in drive a, so you may need to alter
  17. the filenames in the opl file.

  19. Translate the program and install in the normal way. Run the
  20. application and the Don't Panic piccy will appear. Return to
  21. the system screen, or another application, and when you next
  22. switch on ...

  24. Don't Panic!
  25.  
  26. If the psion is in the middle of updating lists when you switch
  27. off, it may take a second or two for the don't panic to appear
  28. when you next switch on - so _don't panic_!
