  10. Well, this is my first go at a full-blown Psion Series 3 application,
  11. I hope you get plenty of enjoyment out of playing it! Every computer
  12. platform should have a golf simulation, and I think I'm first to
  13. market with Pitch & Putt for the Series 3! I am marketing it as
  14. shareware as I believe I deserve some beer money in return for the
  15. hours working out 3-D algorithms etc! The registration fee is £5-00,
  16. though if you're filthy rich, then please show your appreciation more
  17. generously ... Registration will put us in contact with each other
  18. and enable me to send you other Series 3 software!

  20. To install Pitch and Putt, you need to 
  21.  
  22. Check you received all the files. You need
  23. BACKDROP.PIC
  24. BALL.PIC
  25. LIEn.PIC (n=1 TO 3)
  26. P&PSTART.PIC
  27. PITCH&P.OPA
  28.  
  29. Copy the files into a \PITCH&P\ directory, which can either be on the
  30. internal M disk, or on a SSD (i.e. drives A or B).

  32. Use the Install Application option (under Apps on the main Series 3
  33. menu bar) to install the PITCH&P.OPA file. You will have to move the
  34. file selector to your PITCH&P directory to do this. A golfing icon
  35. will then appear on your system screen!

  37. The playing instructions and hints are all there in the help screens
  38. from the Pitch & Putt main menu.

  40. Included in the PITCH&P.ZIP file are two versions of this file, a
  41. .WRD for viewing on the Psion, and a .TXT for viewing on the PC in a
  42. suitable file viewer/word processor.
