- DReadCIS' basic operating procedures, it is not a replacement for theF
- Cdocumentation. ReadCIS stores variables as 'Names'. Online actionsH
- Eare controlled with software 'Switches'. If the program does not run F
- Ccorrectly, or perform the online tasks you expect, changing a Name J
- Gor Switch setting will usually correct it. In ReadCIS Help, Names are 0
- -grouped by menu dialog, Switches by function.?
- +<Common errors with cross reference to relevant Help section:
- +="?? LOGISX - Illegal syntax" means CIS did not recognize yourB
- +?User ID, probably because there is a space within or after the C
- +@number. It is not caused by the *OTHER terminal identifier. See
- 'User Names' and reenter.
- +<"?? LOGINE - Invalid entry" means CIS did not recognize your?
- +<User ID/password combination. See 'User Names' and reenter.
- +A"Host did not respond as expected" means script did not recognize;
