  6. System Requirements

  9. PCX2PIC (the 16-bit version) will run on any PC with approximately 200K of
  10. available DOS memory. PCX2PIC3 (the 32-bit version) requires an 80386 or
  11. better processor.

  14. Installation
  15. ------------

  17. To install PCX2PIC, type d:INSTALL where d: is the drive (and, if
  18. appropriate, the directory) which contains the install program, then follow
  19. the on-screen prompts. After a successful installation, you may wish to add
  20. the PCX2PIC installation directory to your PATH statement in the AUTOEXEC.BAT
  21. file.

  23. Once PCX2PIC is installed, view the file PCX2PIC.TXT, which contains the main
  24. documentation and the FAQ's.

  26. The file WHATSNEW.TXT describes the new features in this version.

  29. Description of PCX2PIC
  30. ----------------------

  32. PCX2PIC is a PCX to Psion PIC file converter. It allows PCX files to be
  33. converted to black, grey or black and grey (2 plane) Psion PIC files. This
  34. allows graphics to be drawn or processed on the PC rather than drawing them
  35. on the Psion.

  37. I have released PCX2PIC as freeware, but I would appreciate comments or
  38. suggestions, or simply let me know you're using it, by sending e-mail to the
  39. address below.
