  21. AlarmFix  & Agenda Today    Version 2.2
  22. For The Series 3a & 3c.  ( for the series 3 use Agendax from Psion ) 
  23. The problem:
  24. The Psion's Time-task holds the next due alarm, but most alarms are set in the Agenda-task.  It can take up to 12 seconds for the next due alarm to be sent to the time-task.  If the Psion is switched off during this period, 'ALL' alarms are disabled until  the Psion is again switched on.
  25. What AlarmFix Does
  26. AlarmFix runs continually in the background.  It is a double function programme.
  27. The first cures the problem of missing alarms.  By disabling the off key, blanking the screen, then waits until the alarm is set (1 to 12 seconds) and switches off.
  28. The second gives extra facilities.  If the date has changed since last switching off, it automatically forces Agenda to display, and sets it to today in the Day-view, so you can see at a glance todays listings.  If the date has not changed, Agenda is set to today, but not displayed until you press the Agenda button.
  29. If you have more than one Agenda running at the same time.  The first Agenda that was started, is displayed when switched on after a date change.
  30. TIPS:   When in Agenda
  31. Esc. key:  Displays the view, that was last used before switch off (ie. To-Do List).
  32. Diamond key:  Different views.
  33. Space_bar:  Alternates between Today and last date used.
  34. Control/Space_bar:   Today and Day view.
  35. Control/Enter:  Jumps to next Monday.
  36. Control/F  ect.:  Jumps to next Friday
  37. Tab key:   Calender.  (Month, 3 Months, Year)
  38. Psion/J:   Jumps to Date, use  <  and  >  to decrease /increase respectively.
  39. Installation:
  40. The Owner Information screen (Password screen), must have your name, before you start AlarmFix.   (Psion p  from the system screen).
  41. a).  Copy Alarmfix.wrd onto any drive, in the WRD directory.
  42. b).  Copy Alarmfix.opa onto any drive, in the APP directory.
  43. c).  Install the AlarmFix Icon and Press Enter.
  44. Switch-on, will be quicker after registration.
  45. You may remove the Icon after registration.
  46. Important:
  47. If AlarmFix should crash, it could be that the Psion will not switch OFF (heaven forbid).  Go to the AlarmFix Icon and KILL it.
