  1. WAR - for the Psion Siena - V 1.0 released 27th MAy 97.

  3. War is a arcade/strategy game, a cross between 'Worms' & 'Command & Conquor'.

  5. If you have any problem with installing or running this program, check that you
  6. are using the latest version, which, along with all my other programs, can be
  7. downloaded from my homepage:

  11. Make sure that you have followed the instructions correctly, (you would not
  12. believe how many people have written to me complaining that one of my programs
  13. does not work, only to find that they had misread the instructions).

  15. INSTALLATION (requires 37k)
  16. ============

  18. Copy WAR_S.APP into the APP directory in your Siena's internal memory,
  19. (if you do not have the directory M:\APP\, see instrucions below to create one).
  20.  
  21. Next create the directory M:\PSITECHS\.
  22.  
  23. If you dont know how to create the directorys, instructions follow:-
  24.  
  25. Press the SYSTEM button
  26.  
  27. Press the MENU key
  28.  
  29. Under 'Disk' select 'Make directory' and press Enter
  30.  
  31. Next to 'Name' type APP
  32.  
  33. Now use the same method to create a directory called PSITECHS, this time typing
  34. PSITECHS next to 'Name' instead of APP
  35.  
  36. Copy all the remaining files except this one (README.TXT) into the PSITECHS
  37. directory.

  39. Once the files have been copied, press SYSTEM, then MENU, then select INSTALL,
  40. select WAR_S.APP and press ENTER. An icon for WAR will then appear, select this
  41. to begin the game. Instructions on how to play are in the game, just press the
  42. Help key once the program has started.
