  1. This zip contains;
  2.  
  3.     etext.dot   - A document template for MS Word v6.0 containing macros
  4.                   for converting the .prc and .pdb files used by DOC
  5.                   (by Rick Bram). This requires MAKEDOC7.EXE written by
  6.                   Pat Beirne.
  7.  
  8.                   Because of the possible damage a malicious AutoExec macro
  9.                   can deal out, I personally don't like opening Word
  10.                   templates if I don't know their pedigree. If you're of a
  11.                   similar mind, cut and paste the macros out of the two
  12.                   text files.

  14.     doc2prc.txt - Text version of the macro to convert a word document
  15.                   into .prc format and run the instapp utility.
  16.  
  17.     prc2txt.txt - Text version of the macro to convert a .prc or .pdb
  18.                   file into .txt format and open this in Word.

  20. Please feel free to distribute them as you wish. If you find them useful
  21. or have got any comments to make I'd appreciate a quick email. If you want
  22. to pass them off as your own work, don't worry about it.

  24. Note: These were created in approx 1.5hrs for my own use. They're not
  25. intended to be a slick solution that will neatly install itself. You'll
  26. need to change some of the file locations to get it to work on your machine.
