  16. Registration will entitle you to unlimited free upgrade of future version,
  17. the program will be slightly smaller, you won't see the Unregistered Splash
  18. screen anymore and this will encourage me to write more great programs for
  19. the PalmPilot.

  23. These are the various methods you can register my Shareware programs.

  26. Method 1. KAGI On-line Registration Service
  27.  
  28. With the on-line registration service, you can register using your "Visa,"
  29. "Mastercard," or "American Express".

  36. Method 2. KAGI Payment Services
  37.  
  38. With the KAGI payment services, you can register via E-Mail, Fax or US
  39. Local Postal Mail using your "Check", "Visa," "Mastercard," "American
  40. Express," or "First Virtual.". To find out more about KAGI, click here.

  42. Common steps that all must follow :
  43.  
  44.   1. Run the register program, in Windows 3.1, Windows 3.11 or Windows 95.
  45.      If you do not have it, you can download it by clicking here.
  46.   2. Fill in your name, email address and postal address.
  47.   3. Enter the quantity next to the shareware you wish to purchase.
  48.   4. Select your preferred payment method.When paying via E-Mail or Fax you
  49.      can only use a credit card or First Virtual.
  50.   5. Enter your credit card or your First Virtual information, if used. Do
  51.      not enter the day if your card shows an expiration day.
  52.   6. Follow the additional steps below for the method of registering of
  53.      your choice.

  55. If you intend to register via E-Mail, follow these additional steps:
  56.  
  57.   1. Windows: Click on the 'Next >>" button, lower right of the Register
  58.      Window. Select "I will Email it now, copy the text to Windows
  59.      clipboard" radio button and click on OK button below. Read the warning
  60.      prompts and pay attention to them.
  61.   2. Open your email program.
  62.   3. Make a new email message with the address as: sales@kagi.com
  63.   4. Click on the message area and paste. It will paste what was copied
  64.      from register into the email message. Double check to see that the
  65.      information is correct, if not reenter it in the Register program,
  66.      copy and paste over.
  67.   5. Send the message. Save a copy for yourself.

  69.      If you do not get an email acknowledgment from KAGI in a couple of
  70.      working days, you either did not give us an email address or there is
  71.      a problem.

  73.      Once I receive the registration information from KAGI, I will e-mail
  74.      you the REGISTERED VERSION within four (4) working days.

  76. If you intend to register by Fax, follow these additional steps:
  77.  
  78.   1. Click on the "Print" button. The output should have bar codes on it.
  79.   2. Double check to see that the information is correct, if not reenter it
  80.      in the Register program.
  81.   3. Run it through your fax machine/fax modem. Fax it to +1 510-652-6589
  82.   4. Save a copy of the form for yourself, we suggest printing it out.

  84.      If you do not get an email acknowledgment from KAGI within four
  85.      working days, you either did not give us an email address or there is
  86.      a problem.

  88.      Please note that it can take up to seven days for faxes to get
  89.      processed. We have to print them and send them out to data entry just
  90.      like postal payments. If time is critical, we suggest you send your
  91.      registration via email. Email payments are processed without being
  92.      sent out to data entry and usually takes only one or two days to get
  93.      you your payment information.

  95.      Once I receive the registration information from KAGI, I will e-mail
  96.      you the REGISTERED VERSION within four (4) working days.

  98. If you intend to register via Postal Mail, follow these additional steps :
  99.  
  100.   1. Click on the "Print" button, lower right of the Register window.
  101.      Double check to see that the information is correct, if not reenter it
  102.      in the Register program and print again.
  103.   2. Make checks payable to "Kagi". Checks must be in US Dollars only.
  104.      Please write the program name on the check as well as your email
  105.      address, if you have one.
  106.   3. Post it to :

  112.   4. Save a copy for yourself.

  114.      If you do not get an email acknowledgment from us in a couple of
  115.      weeks, you either did not give us an email address or there is a
  116.      problem. If no email address then you will receive a postcard if you
  117.      paid for one.

  119.      Once I receive the registration information from KAGI, I will e-mail
  120.      you the REGISTERED VERSION within four (4) working days.

  123. IMPORTANT NOTICE

  125. Payment by check to my local address in Singapore is no longer acceptable.
  126. This is because the bank earns more than me for each check clearance.
  127.  
  128. The bank in Singapore charge a minimum of SIN$10 or 1.8% of the amount, 
  129. which ever is higher for clearing a foreign check. Hence for a registration
  130. fee of US$12, I only get to keep US$5 only.
