Hourz is a TimeTracking application for the mobile professional. You enter your hours worked on a project basis, track other expenses, and create invoices on your PC or Mac using the export feature.
Hourz 1.0 is NOT COMPATIBLE with Hourz 1.0b1 databases. The format has changed to be more flexible in the future and to provide new features.
You MUST delete your existing Hourz application and data from your Pilot prior to downloading. There is no way to export this data - just write it down on paper.
Hourz is shareware. If you use the project you must pay $20 US. When you pay the shareware fee, I will send you a key that will unlock the Export feature and prevent the registration dialog from annoying you. You will also be entitled to version 1 updates at no cost.
Regardless of the registration method you choose, be sure to include your case-sensitive Pilot HotSync name and e-mail address. Save your registration key!
Registration is handled by the Kagi shareware service. Read the registration readme file included in this package or check the ZÜskWare web page for details.

Convenient Invoicing with the Export Feature
- Output selected hours to a new Memo Pad entry in tab or comma delimited format
- Optionally output column headings
- Export hours that match selection criteria (project, date range, billed status)
- Optionally mark exported hours as "billed"
- Tags the memo with "Hourz Export <today's date>"
- Outputs hours in chronological order
- HotSync and copy the memo data to Excel for invoicing
Currency Preferences
- Specify up to a 3 character currency string (default is '$')
- Specify if the currency string is "Prefix" or not (e.g. Prefix: $100, not: 100DM)
Pseudo-Timer Features
- Start the clock when you create a new entry. The start time is set to the current time rounded down 15 minutes. The end time is not specified.
- Stop the clock when you edit an entry with no specified end time. The end time is set to the current time rounded up 15 minutes.

Known Problems
- There seems to be weird floating point errors when the rate or hours are either very small or very large. (50 hours @ $900/hr = $45001?) (1 hour @ .01/hr = .35?). This is a bug in the floating point libraries.
