  5. This file contains information on how to register your copy of
  6. Shass.  For a description of Shass and its functionality, please
  7. refer to the file SHASS100.TXT included in the distribution package.

  9. 1. HOW TO REGISTER YOUR COPY OF SHASS
  10. -------------------------------------
  11. You must register your copy of Shass if you intend to use it beyond
  12. your evaluation period. You may choose one of the following methods
  13. to register your copy:

  15. 1.1 Registering via CompuServe SWREG
  16. ------------------------------------
  17. If you have access to CompuServe you may register electronically. 
  18. GO SWREG and follow the instructions. 
  19.  
  20. 1.2 Registering by Mail
  21. -----------------------
  22. To register by mail, fill in the registration form at the end of this
  23. file, and send it with tour payment in USD to:

  30. 2. REGISTRATION PACKAGE
  31. -----------------------
  32. The registration package contains an acknowledgement of registration, a 
  33. serial number, a configuration file, and instructions as how to validate
  34. your copy of Shass.

  36. If you use CompuServe's SWREG service to register, you receive your
  37. registration package via CIS email. If you register by regular mail, you 
  38. can decide whether you want to receive your registration package via
  39. email or via regular mail.

  41. 3. ADVANTAGES OF REGISTRATION
  42. -----------------------------
  43. As a registered user of Shass, you will be entitled to the following: 
  44.  
  45.  - Free copy of the latest available version of Shass Release 1.
  46.  - Access to the coupon management and shopping list printing 
  47.    features.
  48.  - Notification of the availability of bug fix releases, if any, and
  49.    of new releases of Shass.
  50.  - Technical support via electronic mail for at least one year.

  52. 4. PRICE 
  53. --------
  54. The registration fee is $ 20.00. If you choose to receive your
  55. registration package via regular mail and you live outside
  56. continental USA, please add $2.00.

  58. If you choose to receive your registration package via regular mail,
  59. you may also order the following:

  61.  1) the latest version of Shass and the registration package on a
  62.     floppy disk (add $ 5.00)

  64.  2) a printed copy of the manual (add $ 3.00)
