Transcription: The most important technological achievement doesn't sound like much of one because it's not a technology breakthrough, but it's extremely important that in the early 1980s when IBM was making its first personal computer, it decided to have an open architecture. This let all kinds of software developers and hardware developers create products for that PC and the result is we have this enormously capable powerful machine on our desktops today.
