  2.         KLOTZ - free version.

  4. KLOTZ is a game of falling pieces similar to TETRIS, for use
  5. under Microsoft Windows 2.x. and 3.0.
  6.  
  7. The current version is 2.11a. This is a maintenance release 
  8. correcting an error which made execution under Windows 2
  9. or Windows 3 in real mode flaky.

  20. DOCUMENTATION

  22. KLOTZ.WRI is written with Windows Write, using a printer driver for the
  23. HP DeskJet Plus printer.  If you have something different, (PostScript
  24. printer, HP LaserJet with Softfonts), first try to print it asis.  If
  25. this doesn't work, try to change the whole document to a font your
  26. printer supports.  You can do that most easily by marking the whole
  27. document with CTRL-SHIFT-End and then changing the font.  Note: you
  28. don't loose the font size information, if you select a new font's name
  29. only and not a specific font size.  If this still doesn't work, save
  30. the document as KLOTZ.TXT with TEXT ONLY switched on.  Then load
  31. KLOTZ.TXT into the Notepad, switch line wrap to on and print it using
  32. the Notepad's PRINT function.

  34. You don't need to read the documentation in order to play KLOTZ.

  37. INSTALLATION
  38.  
  39. Installation of KLOTZ is easy: simply copy KLOTZ.EXE into
  40. the directory you normally use for Microsoft Windows
  41. applications and start it from there. KLOTZ will create
  42. a file KLOTZ20.DAT during the first play. It will change WIN.INI,
  43. if you request it to do so.
