- Hello and welcome to my program. HT is a Hypertext program for the Amiga
- which allows you to have links in a text based document to graphics, sound,
- animation, music, other text, and even programs. The real docs are
- included in the Documentation directory, so look in there for more info on
- that sort of thing.
-
- AmigaWorld recently published HT on their ToolChest disk. However, my
- contract _explicitly_ states that they purchased one time publication
- rights. The time HT was published has long passed and since I retained all
- the rights to the program, I am now placing it in the freely distributable
- category. If a sysop gives you lip about uploading HT, just be sure to
- pass this along, or have them try to contact me. I'll clear things up
- (plus I'd like to see HT widely distributed and USED).
-
- Now that that's cleared up, lets get to the real stuff!
-
- After you have extracted the archive, you should be able to just cd to the
- hypertext directory and run the program! You may want to run HTInstall to
- put HT somewhere else and make sure you have the (included) arp.library in
- your libs: directory. The Hypertext directory contains all the information
- you could possibly want and more, so just poke around there. Since HT is
- about hypertext, you should only need to type "HT fancy_demo" and go from
- there (there are links to all the documentation, and demos).
