  1. This patch archive may be freely distributed as long
  2. as all of the files of this archive are moved
  3. together and not separated.

  6.    ProWrite3.2.3UK  (initial patch script)

  8.    Patch_Script     (actual patch script)
  9.    PostScript Prep  (latest PostScript Prep file)
  10.    PW323-324UK.pch  (patch used by lpatch)
  11.    lpatch           (Copyright by Lattice)

  13. To patch ProWrite 3.2.3UK, simply move the files of this
  14. archive into the directory where ProWrite is installed.
  15. Then, execute the "ProWrite3.2.3UK" script either from
  16. the CLI/Shell, or by clicking on its icon.  The icon
  17. says "EXECUTE TO PATCH."  After the patching is done,
  18. you may remove the six files in this archive.

  20. This script will determine which version of ProWrite
  21. that you have and patch ProWrite only if it is version
  22. 3.2.3UK.  If you do not have ProWrite 3.2.3UK, then the
  23. script will terminate.  If you have ProWrite 3.2.2UK,
  24. then you need another patch archive to patch
  25. your version to 3.2.4UK.

  27. The PostScript Prep file can simply be copied into your
  28. ProWrite drawer.  This latest version fixes a problem
  29. Level II PostScript printers.

  31. This patch script works correctly under Workbench
  32. 1.3 and 2.0.

  34. As a note:
  35.   The file PW323-324UK.pch is the ProWrite 3.2.3UK to
  36.       3.2.4UK patch file.
  37.   lpatch is the file that does the patching and is
  38.       freely distributable.

  40.   If you would like to patch the files yourself, and
  41.   bypass the script, you may get a synopsis of how the
  42.   lpatch command works by typing 'lpatch' on a CLI/Shell
  43.   prompt line by itself.  It contains the necessary
  44.   information on how it works.
