- Short: Shell printer utility; prints special codes and files
-
- Printer MODe version 2.3a by John Mosley, Copyright (C) 10-19-1992
-
- This is a nifty utility that will send printer codes to a somewhat
- standard Epson printer so that it will print in modes such as NLQ,
- condensed, elite character set, pica set, etc. It will also print text
- files and send linefeeds and formfeeds. Just preceed printer code options
- with a dash to distinguish them from filenames. Pmod brings up a requester
- when it cannot find a file or does not know an option, giving the user a
- chance to correct the typeing, skip the given argument and continue with the
- next, or abort the entire printing session.
- I have no idea if this program, with the printer codes it uses, will
- be useful on other printers besides Epson, so people, let me know. Oh,
- yeah... Don't attempt to make this thing resident - God knows what would
- happen!
- Also, look out for another utility I wrote called BootFlag22.lzh.
- It's a Shell script utility that basically acts as 32 on/off global
- environment variables that can be checked, and compared, etc. in If
- statements in a script. There is also a Unix version out there.
