  1. GWTerm:

  3. Modem communications program by John Preston.  This terminal program
  4. has ability to see special esc codes to display IFF maps locally rather 
  5. than taking the time to receive the ANSI characters via the modem.
  6. Not only does this make playing the game faster, the supplied maps are
  7. more graphically apeasing.
  8. The config file GWTerm.CFG needs to be with the map files and the data
  9. file in a directory assigned to GWMAPS:
  10. The config file has the following values
  11.  
  12. UNIT   -- The serial port unit number to be used by serial.device
  13.  
  14. BAUD   -- The default value of the BAUD rate to be used initally.  This
  15.           can be changed later by selecting different values from the 
  16.           menus.

  18. MOUSE  -- Enables or disables the ability to click on a country instead
  19.           of having to type the first couple of letters when doing battle.
  20.           A value of 1 is ON and a value of 0 is OFF.

  22. MODEMINIT -- The string to send to the modem during initialization.
  23.  
  24. MODEMPREFIX -- The prefix to send to the modem ahead of sending the phone
  25.           number.
