- Introduction
- ------------
-
- PMkill is a simple utility program that allows Point and Shoot
- killing of processes from the OS/2 2.x desktop. When invoked it
- displays a 'kill' pointer which you can use to kill applications
-
-
-
- Usage
- -----
-
- PMkill can be started from either clicking on its icon or typing
- pmkill from an os/2 command prompt. If invoked from its icon it
- goes into a continous kill mode where you can repeatly kill programs
- by pointing to them and pressing the left mouse button. To end the
- pmkill you simply press the right mouse button. If invoked from the
- command line pmkill is a little more flexable in that you may specify
- the desired number of kills for pmkill to preform by specifing the
- number as an argument in the form 'pmkill /<num>' where num is the
- desired number of kills. Of course even with a specified number of
- kills pmkill may be ended by pressing the right mouse button. Help
- on the argments for pmkill can be obtained by specifing 'pmkill /?'
-

-
- Known Bugs
- ----------
-
- On applications started from the command line the parent process
- of the selected program is kill thus it fails to kill some programs
- if the parent process no longer exits. I hope to fix this in a
- future version.
