- Workplace Shell Shutdown Utility
- ================================
-
- Introduction
- ============
-
- Thank you for downloading WPS ShutDown!.
-
- WPS ShutDown! is an OS/2 2.0 32-bit workplace shell utility that will allow
- you to easily close your entire OS/2 system. This program will provide an
- orderly shutdown of the disk cache, as well as all running applications.
-
- All OS/2 presentation manager applications and workplace shell folders will
- be closed, and their window positions will be remembered.
-
- Any DOS or Windows applications will also be closed. A message box will be
- displayed before any of these applications are ended. It is recommended that
- you properly close these applications before using the WSP ShutDown! program
- since it is unable to save any data that may have been modified.
-
- After you restart OS/2, any workplace shell objects that were open when
- you ran WPS ShutDown! will also be restarted. In fact, WPS ShutDown! will
- also restart briefly, since it was active when the system was shutdown,
- and then exit. This is normal.
-
-
- The contents of this package are:
-
- Read.Me - This file (You're reading it!)
- ShutDown.exe - The workplace shell shutdown program.

- For program settings, all you need to specify is the path and
- file name where you placed ShutDown.exe.
-
- Executing WPS ShutDown! is as simple as double clicking the icon, or typing
