- (c) 1993,1994 C.O.L. Systems Inc.

-
- Some of the GA releases of OS/2, both 2.0 and 2.1, will cause the
- Pegasus Resource Monitor to crash the system. This is due to
- bugs in the OS2KRNL and some of the sub-components of the operating
- system.
-
- You should review the PEGASUS.INF document to determine what, if
- any, fixes you should apply before running Pegasus. Select APAR
- Notices from the table of contents.

- Pre Installation
- ----------------
- If you are running an earlier version of the Pegasus Resource Monitor,
- stop it and delete all files, folders, and program objects from that
- release. If you have placed any of the Pegasus dynamic link libraries in
- directories other than the executable directory, find them and delete
- them as well.
-
- Installing Pegasus
- ------------------
- 1. Unzip PEGASUS.ZIP
-
- 2. Run the PINSTALL.CMD install utility with a path name
- argument to install Pegasus into:
-
- ex. [x:\download]pinstall y:\pegasus
-
- where y:\pegasus is the qualified path name, do not
- put a closing '\' at the end of the line.
-
- 3. View the new on-line documentation.
-
- 4. Optionally add the install path to your 'PATH=', 'DPATH=' and
- 'LIBPATH=' statements in CONFIG.SYS.
