  4.    Well, there is yet a new file format for VIDEODRV.DBF. Actually, it is
  5.    just the same old file format, but I have added yet more information to
  6.    the file, as I add new features internally. Thus, there is a new 
  7.    CONVERT.EXE which converts VIDEODRV.DBF from the version 4.00 format
  8.    to the version 5.00 format. Please note that you should only use the
  9.    CONVERT.EXE that is supplied with version 5.00 if you are using version
  10.    4.00. If you are using an earlier version (assuming you have not been
  11.    using it for more than the 30 day evaluation period) then you basically
  12.    need to delete your VIDEODRV.DBF file, and reinstall your drivers files
  13.    again for the purpose of building a new VIDEODRV.DBF.

  15.    NOTE that your old VIDEODRV.DBF will NOT work with this version of
  16.    VIDEODRV. Thus, you need to convert it into the 5.00 format, or
  17.    delete it and rebuilt it again, by reinstalling drivers from your
  18.    manufacturer's distribution disk.

  20.    CONVERT.EXE is text mode OS/2 program that should be run from a command prompt
  21.    (after changing to the directory in which your VIDEODRV.DBF file is located).

  23.    CONVERT.EXE is really a half-way solution, because the information in the
  24.    old DBF file is less than that in the new file. All that CONVERT.EXE does
  25.    is to put that information into the new file format. By using it, you
  26.    will not get the benefits of the extra information in the new file format
  27.    (this basically concerns updating references to fonts in the Win-OS/2 INI
  28.    files). Please note this point.

  30.    CONVERT.EXE converts the data in VIDEODRV.DBF and puts it into a file
  31.    called CONVERT.DBF. After conversion, you need to back up your old
  32.    VIDEODRV.DBF, delete the copy on your hard disk, and then rename
  33.    CONVERT.DBF to VIDEODRV.DBF.
