  1. FRACTINT for OS/2 Presentation Manager

  3. To all whom it may concern:

  5. This is Release 3.0 of FRACTINT for OS/2 Presentation Manager.
  6. It requires IBM or MS OS/2 release 1.2, 1.21, 1.3, or 2.0.
  7. It will not work on OS/2 releases 1.0 or 1.1.
  8.  
  9. This version is based on the fractal calculation engine from
  10. FRACTINT for DOS version 17.1.
  11.  
  12. I develop on IBM OS/2 1.3 SE, and try it at work on OS/2 1.3 EE, also.
  13. Although this program runs on OS/2 2.0, it is still a 16-bit program
  14. A 32-bit port for OS/2 2.0 is in the works.

  16. For a list of what's new, run the program, hit F1, highlight
  17. "What's New" and hit enter.

  19. The documentation files are as follows.  Please read each in turn.

  21. READ.ME       which you are reading
  22. INTRO.DOC     which details the evolution of FRACTINT and where
  23.               PMFRACT fits in.  It is the same as the online Help/Introduction.
  24. INSTALL.DOC   which gives installation instructions
  25. FUTURES.DOC   wherein I address what is not implemented.
