- DECRYPT
-
- Decrypt is an OS/2 PM aid to solving Cryptograms. Operation is generally
- intuitive. There are basically two modes of operation:
-
- 1) Edit - The mode in which you enter or make changes to the unsolved
- cryptogram. All entry is in Insert mode; there is no typeover in
- this mode. Backspace and Delete work as you would expect them to.
- 2) Solve - The mode in which you enter your translation, character by
- character. The translated character is typed in at the cursor; it
- will subsequently appear on the lower half of the window.
- Backspace and Delete do not work in this mode.
-
- You can toggle between the two modes with the Insert key.
- Unused characters appear in the lower right hand corner of the window.
- In the Edit menu:
-
- 1) Clear Solution - clears the solution at any time.
- 2) Pack Workspace - deletes all unnecessary whitespace in the cryptogram.
- 3) Fix Margin - unfragments all words that wrap around the end of a
- line.
-
- If you find any bugs and would like to report them, you can drop me a line on
- this BBS or on CompuServe (I'll get it infinitely quicker here). My CompuServe
- ID is 71570, 437.
-
- Enjoy !!
