  1.                    Your Rights to Use the Software

  3. If you acquired this computer program copy (which we will call the
  4. "Software") at one of our authorized outlets, then you may use it,
  5. just as you use a book or compact disc when you borrow it from a
  6. public library.  Just like a book that you borrow from the library for
  7. some period of time, this version should only be used for the 30 day
  8. evaluation period.  This software copy is designed to work differently
  9. or stop working 30 days after the first use.

  11. You didn't sign any agreements with us when you acquired the Software,
  12. but U.S.  copyright laws set certain limits to what you can do with
  13. the Software.  You may:

  15.      install and use the Software during the evaluation
  16.      period on a single computer.  If you want to use the
  17.      Software on more than one computer, you may do so,
  18.      provided that you are the only user of the Software,
  19.      and the Software is only used on one computer at a
  20.      time.

  22.      make backup copies of the Software for your own use
  23.      during the evaluation period, in case your master copy
  24.      is damaged or destroyed.

  29. Creative Systems Programming Corporation is making this special
  30. demonstration version of Golden CommPass(TM) available to OS/2 users
  31. that are interested in experimenting with a native OS/2 application
  32. for navigating CompuServe.
  33.  
  34. This is not shareware.  This demonstration program contains all the
  35. features of the complete Golden CommPass program, except that it has
  36. been limited to accessing CompuServe forums that begin with either IBM
  37. or OS2, as well as the PRACTICE and GCPSUPPORT forums.  In addition,
  38. this demonstration version will not allow you to send or retrieve
  39. CompuServe mail.  This demonstration program has been designed to work
  40. differently or stop working 30 days after the first use.

  56. Mastercard or American Express (please provide account number and
  57. expiration date).  If you place your order electronically, you will
  58. receive a confirmation within 2 business days.  You can also place
  59. your order over the telephone with a valid credit card, or by mailing
  60. a check or money order (in U.S. funds) to the address listed above.

  62. Golden CommPass can also be registered through the CompuServe
  63. Shareware Registration Database.  The Golden CommPass Registration ID
  64. is 1026.  To access the Shareware Registration Database, type GO SWREG
  65. at any CompuServe prompt.  Select option 2, Register Shareware, and
  66. when prompted, enter Registration ID 1026.  Your CompuServe account
  67. will automatically be charged $99 for Golden CommPass.

  73. "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND.  ANY AND ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES,
  74. INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY
  75. OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED TO THE THIRTY (30)
  76. DAY EXPRESS WARRANTY PERIOD STATED ABOVE.  Some states do not allow
  77. limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so this limitation
  78. may not apply to you.

  80. CSP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL OR PUNITIVE
  81. DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF USE OR INABILITY TO USE THIS PRODUCT.  Some

  83. consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not
  84. apply to you.

  87. legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state
