  2. ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1. Install Golden CommPass Version 2.1 ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ

  4. This dialog contains two entry fields that ask from where you're installing 
  5. Golden CommPass and where you'd like Golden CommPass installed. 
  6.  
  7. The default is to install Golden CommPass from the same drive and directory 
  8. where the installation program was started. 
  9.  
  10. The default target is to a directory called GCP that will be created on your 
  11. Drive C: 
  12.  
  13. If this is OK, click on the Install button. 
  14.  
  15. Golden CommPass will install itself, and create a file folder for itself and 
  16. its Usage Statistics program. 
  17.  
  18. If you do not want to create a separate Golden CommPass folder, remove the 
  19. check mark from the "Install on OS/2 desktop?" box. 
  20.  
  21. Note:  If you want to install Golden CommPass to a hard drive other than C: 
  22.        move your mouse arrow and click in the "Install to" entry field; type 
  23.        over the "C" with the hard drive letter you want.  Click on the Install 
  24.        button and Golden CommPass will install itself.

  31. Are you SURE you want to cancel the installation of Golden CommPass?

  33. If you decide to cancel the installation of Golden CommPass, you should make 
  34. sure that the target directory has not been partially updated.  Please remove 
  35. all files from the target directory before attempting to re-install Golden 
  36. CommPass.

  87. OS/2 typically includes the current directory at the beginning of the LIBPATH 
  88. statement in your CONFIG.SYS file. The Golden CommPass installation program was 
  89. unable to find this entry.

  91. You can find your CONFIG.SYS file in the root directory of your boot drive.

  93. Please update the CONFIG.SYS file to include the following entry, or to include 
  94. the Golden CommPass target directory in the list of directories to be searched.

  104. OS/2 typically includes the default COM.SYS device driver on a DEVICE statement 
  105. in your CONFIG.SYS file. The Golden CommPass installation program was unable to 
  106. find this entry.

  108. You can find your CONFIG.SYS file in the root directory of your boot drive.

  110. Please update the CONFIG.SYS file to include the following entry, or to include 
  111. the Golden CommPass target directory in the list of directories to be searched.

  115. You will also need to verify that this file exists in your OS2 directory on 
  116. your boot drive.
