  30. This is the latest release of XLIST version 2.71a.  This will be the
  31. most powerful version of XLIST ever released.  It has new features
  32. as outlined below.
  33.  
  34. Please read the documentation and review the XLIST.PRO file for
  35. processing options in order to set-up XLIST properly.  XLIST function
  36. keys and *EXECUTE profile commands work in conjunction with your
  37. favorite browser, editor, word processor, etc... in order to make
  38. a seamless disk manager, and should be set-up properly within XLIST.PRO
  39. before using XLIST.

  58.     For best performance of XLIST, set the following environment
  59.     parameters before using XLIST.    This will page approximately
  60.     130K of memory to a virtual disk when XLIST launches a program
  61.     if the *OVERLAY option in XLIST.PRO is set ON. (DOS Version)

  92.     Directory tree work file naming standards changed to "XLIST.LOG"
  93.         for MS-DOS and non-HPFS OS/2 drives and "XLIST.HPFS"
  94.         for HPFS OS/2 drives.  Lets you have Xlist active in
  95.         both DOS & OS/2 windows without directory tree
  96.         confusion.
  97.     Pressing CTRL-ENTER will only execute the command on the current
  98.         command line where the cursor is positioned.

  102.     Will now support Digital Research's DR.DOS 6.0 memory management
  103.         features when using the *OVERLAY feature and high memory
  104.         active.
  105.     Corrected bug in the Zip archive directory causing only the first
  106.         entry to be displayed in some cases when central directory
  107.         had extra appended information.
  108.     Removed the *EMS option as unnecessary.
  109.     New parameters added to the *OVERLAY option to specify the possible
  110.         locations to swap the program from memory.  These options
  111.         may be mixed on the *OVERLAY line following the first
  112.         option "ON".  Values: SWAP_ANY, SWAP_DISK, SWAP_EMS,
  113.         SWAP_XMS, SWAP_EXT (Note: OS/2 Users in the DOS box should't
  114.         use the SWAP_ANY and SWAP_EXT options.    Use SWAP_EMS or
  115.         SWAP_XMS option)
  116.     Minor correction to inconsistent operation of the /s option on the
  117.         command line.

  122.     Bug causing the *DISABLE command not to work for the CD & CHDIR
  123.         commands.
  124.     Made the program more sticky on saving the status of the directory
  125.         when navigating between directories and to archives.
  126.     New $T variable will be a list of tagged files.  $T is full pathname
  127.         and filenames while $t is shorter filename only.
  128.     The Ctrl-PgUp will position the highlite/cursor to the first tagged
  129.         file.
  130.     Recognizes encrypted archive entries on ZIP files and will prompt
  131.         for the password when using the $s or $S variable. $S will
  132.         always prompt for password while the $s will only prompt
  133.         once while in the archive.
  134.     Removed the SWAP_EXT option from *OVERLAY profile command.

  138.     Fixed bug in the alt-t tag screen causing Xlist to execute tagged
  139.         entries when excaping with ESC key.
  140.     Made the /RD=[filespec] definitions "sticky" when navigating from

  142.     Add some more information on the directory tree using the TREESCAN ON
  143.         option in the XLIST.PRO file.

  149.         displaying using the TREESCAN option ON.

  151.     You can use the shifted PGUP/PGDN & up/down cursor to control
  152.         viewing the directory displayed in the directory tree

  163.         pressing enter in an empty directory.
  164.     Added feature to handle unsafe interrupts when shrinking
  165.         memory usage.    If you get the "Unsafe interrupt..."
  166.         message when executing commands load the "TSRINT.EXE"
  167.         TSR program prior to executing Xlist.  (Note: This
  168.         program is needed with the *OVERLAY option using
  169.         DOS under OS/2 2.0.)
