- ROBOSAVE (ROBOSV) V3.04 11/9/93 Dick Kurtz and Jeff Knauth
-
-
- (c) Copyright International Business Machines Corporation 1994.
- All rights Reserved.
-
-
- ROBOSAVE allows you to easily back up your OS/2 2.x Desktop and later
- restore it to the same system. You can also specify a limited number of
- files to be saved/restored. A simple text profile controls the ROBOSAVE
- operation.
-
-
- The following files are in ROBOSV.ZIP:
-
- ROBOSV.ABS - The Abstract file you are now reading
- ROBOSAVE.CMD - The main executable file
- ROBOSVUT.EXE - A utility program to access OS/2 low-level functions
- ROBOSAVE.SMP - A sample ROBOSAVE profile
- ROBOSAVE.ICO - An icon you can associate with ROBOSAVE.CMD
- ROBOSAVE.INF - The User's Guide in OS/2 VIEW format
- ROBOSAVE.AFP - The User's Guide in Advanced Function Printer format
- ROBOSAVE.DOC - The User's Guide in a simple PC printer format
- LICENSE.TXT - License information
-
- ROBOREST.CMD is another file which is part of the ROBOSAVE tool. It is
- not part of the ZIP file, however. ROBOREST.CMD is created dynamically
- when ROBOSAVE.CMD is executed.
-
-
- The User's Guide is available in three formats. The same information is
- in each one. Use the format most convenient for you.
-
- * ROBOSAVE.INF provides an online version of the User's Guide under OS/2.
- To display it, you can make the directory containing ROBOSAVE.INF be
- the current directory and issue "VIEW ROBOSAVE" from an OS/2 command
- prompt.
-
- * ROBOSAVE.AFP provides a high-quality document which can be printed on a
- personal laser printer, such as an IBM 4019. The LP3820 tool, which is
- available as an OS/2 Employee Written Software program, can be used to
- print this file.
-
- * ROBOSAVE.DOC provides a less fancy document, but one which almost any
- printer can handle. Only the Form Feed (X'0C') and Line Feed (X'0A')
- print controls are used. To print it, you can make the directory
- containing ROBOSAVE.DOC be the current directory and then issue
- "PRINT ROBOSAVE.DOC" from an OS/2 command prompt.
