  3. Thank you for downloading HaltOS!  This is my first attempt
  4. at writing an OS/2 program.  I have often had a need for
  5. a text-based shutdown program, and seeing as how necessity
  6. is the mother of invention, I decided to write one.
  7.  
  8. THIS SOFTWARE IS IN THE PUBLIC DOMAIN!!  I do not ask for
  9. any payment whatsoever for this program.  If you want to
  10. make a contribution, do so by showing others how good
  11. of an OS OS/2 is.

  13. It is a very simple to use program.  To run it, go to a
  14. command prompt and type "haltos".  Then, if you are sure you
  15. want to shut down, type "YES" in all capital letters.

  17. WARNING!!!  THIS WILL NOT SAVE ANY DATA YOU CURRENTLY HAVE
  18. OPEN...ALL IT DOES IS FLUSHES THE BUFFERS AND SECURES THE
  19. FILE SYSTEMS!
