- If you are using a Postscript printed driver under WinOS2, especially under
- OS/2 2.0, when printing a file to disk you might experience problems being
- able to print your file.
-
- This is because some PS printer drivers embed NULL or Ctrl-D characters in the
- file which the printer does not like, especially if it is networked.
-
- PSFIX is designed to deal with this problem.
-
- After you have printed you postscript file to disk you may execute the command
- PSFIX infile outfile
- where infile is the name of the PS file you just created, and outfile is the
- name you want to give the corrected file.
-
- PSFIX will patch the file and save it under the new name, leaving the original
- intact.
-
- This program is being distributed as freeware, as it has been for several
- years. The native 32-bit OS/2 version is new, thats all.
