  3. This is a listing of an OS/2 2.1 boot diskette with HPFS support.  It
  4. requires a 3.5 inch 1.4 meg floppy to setup.
  5.  
  6. Use the SYSINSTX.COM utility found on the OS/2 DISK 1 to install OS2BOOT
  7. onto the floppy.  Copy the utility to your boot drive and then type
  8. SYSINSTX a: (where a is the floppy drive to install OS2BOOT onto).
  9.  
  10. The remainder of the files are already on your computer in the OS2 directory
  11. or OS2\DLL directory or in the root directory.  Many of the OS2????. files
  12. may be hidden files in your root directory.  Use ATTRIB.EXE to remove the
  13. S,H,and R flags so you can copy them.
  14.  
  15. This will provide you with a diskette that will boot you to an OS/2 prompt,
  16. allowing you to run utilities against the boot drive such as CHKDSK /f or
  17. for restoring config files etc that are stopping you from booting.
