  23. To install this release, unpack the distribution files onto a diskette, or
  24. to a separate directory that also contains LOADER.EXE and LHARC.EXE.  These
  25. files are available for download in the LOADER.ZIP archive.

  27. From a full screen DOS session under OS/2, run the LOADER program.  Follow
  28. the prompts to select an action, and specify your OS/2 boot drive.
  29.  
  30. NOTE:  If you have problems running LOADER under OS/2 (for example, an
  31. OS/2 error message regarding unsupported video functions appears, or LOADER
  32. fails to respond to the keyboard), try switching the DOS session from full 
  33. screen to windowed and back (using the ALT-HOME key sequence).

  35. The LOADER program will create the required the driver files in a 
  36. \MACH_OS2 directory on your OS/2 boot drive.  A README.OS2 will also
  37. be placed in this directory.  Refer to the README.OS2 file for additional
  38. instructions.  LOADER also places the ATIM32.DSC file in the \OS2\INSTALL
  39. directory.

  41. LOADER will then prompt you to run DSPINSTL from an OS/2 window or full 
  42. screen session.  README.OS2 contains instructions for using DSPINSTL to 
  43. load the ATI OS/2 driver.
