  18. DESCRIPTION
  19.      Pnews is a friendly interface for posting news articles.  It
  20.      will  ask  several  questions,  then allow you to enter your
  21.      article, and then post it using the  inews(1)  program.   If
  22.      you  type  h  and a carriage return at any point, Pnews will
  23.      tell you what it wants to know.

  25.      The -h form is used when invoked from rn.   If  your  editor
  26.      can  edit  multiple files, and you want the article to which
  27.      you are replying to show up as an alternate file, define the
  28.      environment  variable  NEWSPOSTER  as "Pnews -h %h %A".  You
  29.      can also modify the the NEWSHEADER environment  variable  to
  30.      change the header file that rn passes to Pnews.

  32. ENVIRONMENT
  33.      AUTHORCOPY
  34.              If defined, contains the name of a file to which the
  35.              finished article will be appended.

  37.              Default: article not saved

  39.      DOTDIR  Where to find your dot files, if they aren't in your
  40.              home  directory.   This  is  primarily  for accounts
  41.              which are shared by more than one person.

  45.      EDITOR  The editor you want to use, if VISUAL is undefined.

  47.              Default: whatever your news administrator installed,
  48.              usually vi.

  50.      HOME    Your home directory.

  54.      LOGDIR  Your home directory if HOME is undefined.

  74.      NAME    Your full name.

  76.              Default: name from /etc/passwd, or ~/.fullname.

  78.      NEWSORG Either the name of your organization, or the name of
  79.              a  file  containing  the  name of your organization.
  80.              (For use at  organizations  where  the  ORGANIZATION
  81.              environmental  variable  is  in  use  for other pur-
  82.              poses). If both NEWSORG and  ORGANIZATION  are  set,
  83.              NEWSORG will override ORGANIZATION.

  86.              Either the name of your organization, or the name of
  87.              a file containing the name of your organization.

  89.              Default: whatever your news administrator chose.

  91.      REPLYTO The contents of a "Reply-To:" header line to  insert
