  1. This is the README file for WatchCat 1.1                   February 26th, 1994

  3. WatchCat is a program for OS/2 2.x that makes it possible to recover
  4. from system hangs that block keyboard and mouse input.
  5.  
  6. WatchCat requires an alternate input mechanism:
  7.  
  8. - a joystick on a game port              OR
  9. - a special connector on a game port     OR
  10. - a special connector on a parallel port OR
  11. - a special connector on a serial port
  12.  
  13. If you don't want to use a joystick: the connector is very easy to make.
  14.  You only need a connector, a switch, and in certain cases a resistor.
  15. View WATCHCAT.INF for details.
