  6. PAT700V2.ASM allows patching of MODM700 for the following features:

  8.     1.    Allow rubout to go to console and optionally
  9.     eliminate the control character feature.
  10.  
  11.     2.    The UNDO-J option that restores terminal mode
  12.     as the default at the calling end and command mode at
  13.     the called end after completion of file transfers.  Yhis
  14.     is how Ward originally wrote it and the preferred mode
  15.     by many.

  17.     3.    Corrected error that caused the wrong file to be
  18.     erased (in some instances) when overwiting files in
  19.     batch mode.  This patch was in PAT730Vx.ASM but did not
  20.     make it into MODM700.

  22.     4.    Allows for optional MAXWAIT times in the protocol
  23.     to improve operation when operating with satellite
  24.     communication links or with packet switched networks
  25.     that can sometimes throttle and give excessive and
  26.     variable packet delays.
