  11. Because of the manner in which Victor Charlie works, it cannot simply be 
  12. "fired up" for a quick look. It must be installed AND initialized. 
  13. Please see the document INSTALL.DOC for a fast way to do this.

  17. VC is distributed with NO executable programs. No integral VC program 
  18. will run unless initialized. Executable programs for VC will be made 
  19. automatically during installation and/or initialization.

  21. The three VC utilities, GET, BOOTFIX, and PTRESQ may be used without 
  22. initialization by copying them to executable form. All three are .COM 
  23. programs, and can be made to run with a copy process:
  24.          COPY GET GET.COM
  25.          COPY BOOTFIX BOOTFIX.COM
  26.          COPY PTRESQ PTRESQ.COM
  27. Please do not use these programs before you read the documentation.
