  5. This version is being released primarily to deal with changes that
  6. have occurred in operating system software since version 3.4 of the
  7. utilities was released in February 1992.
  8.  
  9. Changes in the TSR Utilities include:
  10.  
  11.   - improved method for finding the first high memory block under QEMM
  12.     7.0 and recent versions of EMM386
  13.  
  14.   - support for MS-DOS 6.0, especially in MARKNET and RELNET
  15.  
  16.   - solutions for problems when QEMM 7.0's DOS-UP feature is used to
  17.     load COMMAND.COM into high memory
  18.  
  19.   - solutions for problems when MARKNET is loaded high with QEMM or
  20.     386MAX
  21.  
  22.   - special support for MSCDEX CD-ROMs in RELNET. The drive letters
  23.     used are recovered when MSCDEX is unloaded
  24.  
  25. If you are using QEMM 6.0 or 7.0, take note of the following
  26. requirements:
  27.  
  28.   - you must put DOS=UMB in your CONFIG.SYS file for the TSR Utilities
  29.     to work correctly with high memory
  30.  
  31.   - if you are using QEMM 7.0 DOS-UP to load COMMAND.COM high, you
  32.     must always use the /U or /H command line options of RELEASE and
  33.     RELNET
  34.  
  35. If you are using EMM386 from MS-DOS or Windows, you must put DOS=UMB
  36. in CONFIG.SYS for the TSR Utilities to work correctly with high
  37. memory.
  38.  
  39. If you are using 386MAX 6.0 or 7.0, do *not* put DOS=UMB in
  40. CONFIG.SYS.
