- HOW TO SEARCH FOR WORDS
-
- You may search for any word or group of words in all of
- the titles, as well as limit your word search to the works
- of an individual author or to certain titles.
-
- To search for a word or words, select the WORDS option
- from the Main Menu (press {3} or use the {ARROW KEYS} to
- move the light bar to WORDS and press the {ENTER} key).
-
- Type in the word or words you wish to search for. If you
- wish to enter words on the next line, press {ENTER} at the
- end of each line. Follow one or more of the formats listed
- below, and press {F5} to begin your search.
-
- Use the {INSERT} key to make corrections in words you wish
- to search for. You may add or delete letters at your option.
-
- LOGICAL OPERATORS
- Logical Operators are connecting words which help
- define a word search, in this case "AND" and "OR".
- If you type both words on the same line separated by a
- space, they will be searched for as if the logical
- operator "AND" was inserted between them. You will then
- find all occurrences of both words together on any screen.
-
- If you type the first word on one line, and the second
- word on another line, they will be searched for as if the
- logical operator "OR" was inserted between them. You will
- then find all occurrences of either the first word OR the
- second word on any screen. This is called a NORMAL SEARCH.
