PostScript OSA allows you to write & execute PostScript code anywhere that you can use AppleScript - from the standard Script Editor, to OSA Menu and the script menus of many applications.
It was inspired by John Warnock's keynote address during which he said that all the programming he does anymore is entirely in PostScript - so I thought he would like to be able to use PostScript throughout the Mac OS. But it wasn't till Scott Boyd and Greg Marriott said - "But Leonard, you're the only one that can do it"...So I did it!
PostScript OSA works by sending the entered source code to Acrobat Distiller for conversion to PDF, at which point the PDF is passed on to Acrobat for display. Therefore, to fully take advantage of PostScript OSA, you need a copy of the full Adobe Acrobat package.
The sources are provided for your enjoyment and modification as well. I hope others find this useful and even create all sorts of other "unique" scripting systems.
