  6.         (maybe binary) file.  Similar to ident, but uses the 
  7.         SCCS (Source Code Control System) identifier "@(#)".
  8.         Many (mostly commercial) software packages have this 
  9.         identifier string, including a release number or date. 
  10.         This tool makes it visible.
