- Set the current directory to the directory in which the WG files are located.
- The syntax for running WG is: WG [command line switches]

- COMMAND LINE SWITCHES

- Display Mode Switches
-
- Word Gallery normally tries to run in EGA mode (640x350 16 colors). It will
- automatically detect your display adapter and run in the best mode possible.
- You can override the auto mode selection with the following switches.
- /WGM - Run in MCGA mode (320x200 256 colors)
- /WGT - Run in TGA mode (320x200 16 colors)
- /WGC - Run in CGA mode (320x200 4 colors)

- Mouse Switches

- Word Gallery normally uses an animated bee for the mouse cursor. You can change
- the mouse cursor with the following switches.
- /A- = Do not animate the bee.
- /B- = Use the normal arrow mouse cursor.

- Special Effect Switches
-
- Word Gallery will use a random clearing effect to erase portions of the screen.
- It will use this effect if you have a turbo XT or faster computer. You can
- override the automatic selection for this feature with the following switches.
- /E- = Disable the special effects.
- /E+ = Enable the special effect.

- Digitized Voice Switches

- Word Gallery will disable use of the digitized voice if you have a 4.77 MHz PC
- and your sound device is the internal speaker. Use these switches to override
- the automatic selection of the voice option.
- /V- = Disable the digitized voice.
- /V+ = Enable the digitized voice.

- WGSETUP
-
- To run WGSETUP simply type WGSETUP. WGSETUP is used to select the words that
- you want Word Gallery to use. It is also used to set the options. Some options
- may only be set by WGSETUP while others can also be changed from the Word
- Gallery program itself. Use WGSETUP first to make your sound device selection.
