  1. Gopher_tools.tar.Z contain sources for the MORE and TELNET programs used
  2. by the gopher server software.  These programs do not include the ability
  3. to shell-escape from the Gopher client.

  5. These programs compile with simple cc on A/UX and Sun machines. 
  6. Telnet compiles with bsdcc on an RS/6000.
  7.  
  8. Once compiled, simply place the programs in the gopher/bin directory of the
  9. gopher server.
  10.  
  11. The gopher_tools in this directory are provided for your convenience but
  12. are not supported by the Gopher staff.
