  13.    Thank you for choosing Multimedia Presentation Manager/2.  This README
  14.    document contains useful information that will be helpful in certain
  15.    circumstances.

  17.    1.  If you have a pre-released version of MMPM/2, it is recommended that
  18.        you delete that version before installing this product.
  19.  
  20.        This includes deleting all files and directories that are under the
  21.        MMOS2 directory.  Before doing this, however, you may want to save
  22.        any user data that you might have placed in any of these directories.
  23.  
  24.        This also includes deleting the Multimedia Presentation Manager/2
  25.        folder from the OS/2 desktop, deleting the Multimedia Presentation
  26.        Manager Toolkit/2 folder from the OS/2 desktop, deleting the Volume
  27.        Control object from the OS/2 desktop, and deleting the MIDI and
  28.        Digital Audio templates from the Templates folder.

  30.        Also, you should delete any objects that you have dragged from
  31.        either the Multimedia Presentation Manager/2 folder or the
  32.        Multimedia Presentation Manager Toolkit/2 folder out to the
  33.        OS/2 desktop.

  35.    2.  The M-Audio Media Control Driver of MMPM/2 provides support for
  36.        the following types of audio files:
  37.  
  38.        - Standard RIFF Wave audio files with sampling rates of
  39.      11.025 kHz, 22.050 kHz, or 44.100 kHz
  40.        - AVC Audio Files
  41.  
  42.        Other file formats will be supported as additional media drivers
  43.        become available.

  45.    3.  MMPM/2 provides videodisc support for Pioneer laserdisc models
  46.        LD-V4200, LD-V4300D, LD-V4400, and LD-V8000.

  48.    4.  MMPM/2 supports the following baud rates for videodiscs:
  49.        4800, 9600.

  51.        Please ensure that the default settings on your videodisc hardware
  52.        match the settings on the Videodisc page of the Multimedia Setup
  53.        applet in the Multimedia Presentation Manager/2 folder.

  55.    5.  The MIDI and Digital Audio templates will be added to the OS/2
  56.        Templates folder when you run one of the MMPM/2 Media Players such
  57.        as the Digital Audio Player (found in the Multimedia Presentation
  58.        Manager/2 folder on the OS/2 desktop).
