  1.            README.2     This is the README file from the supplemental
  2.                         documentation disk.

  4.          Refer to README.1 on disk 1 for a description of FLODRAW.

  14.          The following files are included on this disk.
  15.               
  16.               FLODRAW.DOC  is the FLODRAW Reference Manual on disk.
  17.               
  18.               FLOCHART.LIB is a library of flowchart symbols. This is the
  19.                            same library as SYMBOL.LIB on disk 1, except  
  20.                            this library does not contain the flowchart 
  21.                            heading symbol.  You may want to design your own
  22.                            heading symbol and add it to this library.
  23.               FLOCHART.PIC is a chart of all the symbols in the FLOCHART 
  24.                            library.

  26.               HIPO.LIB     is a library of HIPO symbols.
  27.               HIPO.PIC     is a chart of all the symbols in the HIPO 
  28.                            library.
  29.               
  30.               ELECTRIC.LIB is a library of electrical symbols.
  31.               ELECTRIC.PIC is a chart of all the symbols in the ELECTRIC 
  32.                            library.
  33.               
  34.               ORG.LIB      is a library of symbols used in organization 
  35.                            charts.
  36.               ORG.PIC      is a chart of all the symbols in the ORG
  37.                            library.

  39.               MISC.LIB     is a library of miscellaneous symbols.
  40.               MISC.PIC     is a chart of all the symbols in the MISC
  41.                            library.

  43.               LIBRARY.BAT  is the batch file used to create and
  44.                            maintain FLODRAW libraries.

  46.               SAMPLE.FLO   is a sample flowchart document.
  47.               SAMPLE.ELC   is a sample electrical diagram.
  48.               SAMPLE.FRM   is a sample standard form for flowcharts.
  49.               SAMPLE.ORG   is a sample organization chart.

  54.     -------------- 2. Notes on using the files on this disk ---------------
  55.          
  56.          All the SAMPLE files and all files ending in .PIC are FLODRAW
  57.     document files.  You can read and edit these files with FLODRAW. Use this
  58.     procedure to read the files.
  59.               
  60.               1. Put the FLODRAW program disk (disk 1) in drive A.
  61.               2. Put this disk in drive B.
  62.               3. Type FLODRAW B:filename to load the file into FLODRAW.
  63.                  For example, to read the sample flowchart, type
  64.                  FLODRAW B:SAMPLE.FLO
  65.                  
  66.          All the files ending in .LIB are library files.  The library files
  67.     contain the symbols you use while editing your documents.  Use the 
  68.     following procedure to try a new library.
  69.     
  70.               1. Put the FLODRAW program disk (disk 1) in drive A.
  71.               2. Put a blank formatted data disk in drive B. If you have 
  72.                  already started a data disk, you can use it.
  73.               3. Type FLODRAW B:filename to load FLODRAW and read or start
  74.                  a flowchart document.
  75.               4. Remove the program disk from drive A.
  76.               5. Put this disk in drive A.  FLODRAW will always look for
  77.                  library files on the default drive.
  78.               6. Press ESC to return to the entry screen.
  79.               7. Press F9 on the entry screen to get the Load New Library
  80.                  menu.
  81.               8. Enter the name of the library you want to load.  For example,
  82.                  to load the library of organization chart symbols, enter
  83.                  ORG
  84.               9. FLODRAW will load the new library and return you to the
  85.                  entry screen. Now press F1 to edit your document.
  86.              10. Press F10 to try out the new symbols.

  89.          The LIBRARY.BAT file is used to combine symbols into libraries or add
  90.     symbols to libraries.  Refer to the FLODRAW Reference Manual on how to do
  91.     this.

  94.     ----------- 3. Instructions for printing the reference manual. -----------

  97.          It's easy to print the FLODRAW Reference Manual.

  99.               1. Put this disk in drive A.
  100.               2. Turn your printer on, and set the print head an 
  101.                  inch below the top of the paper.
  102.               3. At the A> prompt, enter the command
  103.                      TYPE FLODRAW.DOC
  104.                  but don't press the carriage return yet.
  105.               4. Hold down the Ctrl key while you press the
  106.                  PrtSc key to toggle the print function on.
  107.               5. Now press the carriage return to start printing.
  108.               6. The reference manual will scroll down your screen
  109.                  while it prints.  Printing will take about 20
  110.                  minutes.
  111.               7. When the printing stops, hold down the Ctrl key
  112.                  while you press the PrtSc key to toggle the print
  113.                  function off.
