  9.          Any number of decisions may be made at this point.  One

  11.     bandedge performance, or one may choose to add additional com-
  12.     ponents to the matching circuitry in order to achieve better
  13.     broadband performance.

  15.     able for optimization, the procedure would be to choose those
  16.     six with the highest gradients for the first effort.  Then,
  17.     choose the six highest for the next effort and so on.  In any
  18.     case, it must be remembered that proper selection of the ele-
  19.     ments and the objectives play significant roles in the overall
  20.     speed at which the optimization function operates.
