- already displayed at that line,
- it and all subsequent elements
- will be moved up the stack to
- make room for the new element.
- It is not possible to overwrite
- an element.
-
- MODIFY ELEMENT ..... Allows the user to modify the
- parameters or the file name of
- the element. If a file name is
- changed, this causes the program
- to re-evaluate all file elements
- upon exiting. A full explaina-
- tion of this follows later.
-
- DELETE ELEMENT ..... Deletes the element currently
- displayed. If there are sub-
- sequent elements, they will be
- moved down the stack.
-
- LIST NETWORK ....... Lists the entire network on
- the screen. The user will be
- asked if a hard copy of the
- display is desired. Any reply
- other than "Y" will send the
- program back to the editor at
- line one. The same occurs
- after the copying is completed,
- if requested.
-
- SAVE NETWORK ....... Enables the user to save the
- network topology on disk. The
- user will be asked to supply a
- file name. If it is decided
- at this point not to save the
- network, simply hit RETURN and
- the operation will be cancelled.
-
- NEW NETWORK ........ Deletes the network currently
- in memory, then asks the user
- for a subsequent file name for
- the new network. The procedure
- at this point is the same as
- descibed at the beginning of
- this chapter for entering the
- editor.
-
- EDIT DATA FILES .... Allows access to the Data File
- Editor. See the following chap-
- ter concerning this function
- for details.
