  6. CONFIG changes - date/version

  8. PROBLEMS fixed:
  9.  
  10.   - in 1.48 with the change in the manner flood pointers were
  11. generated, a minor change to the findmsg() function set up a condition
  12. where under specific circumstances an 'L' command would lock the system.
  13.  
  14.   - for several versions 'km' (kill mine')  was blowing everything
  15. addressed to  user away, read or unread - and if that person was sysop,
  16. all messages addressed to SYSOP as well - it is fixed.

  18. CHANGES:
  19.   There is a SETPARM parameter called HOLDMAIL. If set ON when any
  20. message is being saved, it will check for files HOLDTO.RS, HOLDFROM.RS,
  21. and/or HOLDAT.RS if the TO, FROM, or AT fields of the incoming message
  22. match calls listed in any of these files (like all other PRMBS
  23. permission  type  files, they do not have to be present.0if you have no
  24.  files as suchthen setthe parameter OFF and save disk churning. You can
  25. also setup the files for when you are away and turn the parameter
  26. OFF/ON based on your general presence - like turn it ON when you are
  27. away for the weekend and back off when you get back) and  save an
  28. messagethat makes a match as status 'H'. it could be used to filter
  29. @ALLBBS or @USA (editorial comment here, the concept appalls me, but I
  30. see the need for the mechanism  from a pragmatic standpoint)

  32.   When a message is created locally by sysop or a user and the TO field
  33. contains the letters ALL as the  first three characters (ALL, ALLUSA,
  34. ALLCAN, etc) The system will display the following  message and prompt
  35. the user to re-enter the TO field
  36.

  51. will keep looking for it. I have had it happen twice now  in 14 weeks,
  52. as had WA2NDV in 10 weeks or so ... not so often but still with us.
